Predicted Energy Ratings
As from 6th April 2008 the Predicted Energy Rating (PEA) will be used by Building Control to signify Part L1a compliance and can be used as part of the Home Information Pack if the dwelling is to be sold "off plans" and yet to be constructed. Due to the fact that changes in design and appliance type are common the PEA gives the buyer and seller an estimation of how energy efficient and environmentally friendly the dwelling is likely to be.
